Former ANLA militant cadres to cast vote through postal ballot

Dibrugarh: Dibrugarh district administration has made arrangements to help 12 former members of a militant organization- ANLA – cast their votes through the way of postal ballot as part of the special exercise undertaken by the Election Commission of India. These former militants who belong to Dibrugarh district and are currently at the designated camp located at Sungajan, Golaghat, will be able to exercise their voting right on April 11 between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. An Assistant Returning Officer of the district will be present at the designated camp on the day of the election during the stipulated time.
