Former ASEB employee Jyoti Prasad Kataki dies at 84, family bids tearful goodbye
Guwahati: Jyoti Prasad Kataki, a person who served in the Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB) for several decades, winning praise for his diligence and commitment, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Kataki was 84.
Kataki proudly served in the Assam State Electricity Board undertaking various interesting civil projects until his retirement in 1996. The man had a speicial place in his heart for good food, good company, and the news, which he would follow devoutly.
Kataki is survived by his wife Bani, daughter, Devahuti, son-in-law Vineet, son Diptiman, daughter-in-law Lovita, grand-daughters Anoushka and Meera, sister Arundhati, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kataki's absence is sure to be missed by his loved ones.
