TANGLA: Ahead of the by-polls of Assam Legislative Assembly on October 30 in the 5 Legislative Assembly seats of the State including Tamulpur the political air is charging up in Tamulpur LAC where BJP is contemplating to leave the seat for its ally United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) which may face a strong fight by Former MLA, Emmanuel Mosahary who if not afforded a ticket by BJP is mulling to contest independently with the support of his supporters cutting across party lines.

Meanwhile, UPPL might project Bipul Kumar Basumatary in Tamulpur constituency who is known to be a close associate of UPPL supremo, Pramod Boro. The Trinamool Congress is also contemplating spreading its tentacles in Assam and may likely project, Former BTC, MCLA Rabin Bala Biswas who is a popular face among the people specifically Bengali Hindu voters who form a major chunk of the voters in the Tamulpur constituency. Biswas narrowly lose the last BTC council polls when he contested independently. Sources said, Emmanuel Mosahary despite joining the saffron party before the BTC council polls have been cornered in the party but considering his support base at grassroot level he is likely to pose a strong contender even as an Independent candidate.
