KOKRAJHAR: Sansuma Khunggur Bwiswmuthiary, ex MP (Lok Sabha) and the president of the All India Bodo People's National League for Bodoland Statehood (BPNLBS) has strongly urged upon both the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah by a significant memorandum containing a charter of demands relating to 5 long pending issues submitted through the Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar to initiate fresh political dialogues and negotiations on Bodoland Statehood. The memorandum emphasized on the dire-necessity of holding fresh political dialogues and negotiations on the statehood under the prompt initiatives of the Union government of India.

Bwiswmuthiary placed the fresh demand for creation of a separate State of Bodoland within the political map of India as per the provisions of the article 2 & 3 of the constitution with immediate effect, introduction of the provisions of the sixth schedule to the constitution within the geo-political territorial boundary of the Bodo-Kachari Welfare Autonomous Council (BKWAC), granting of state official language status to the most ancient and indigenous rich Bodo language as genuinely deserved as per the provisions of article no 345 of the Constitution, implementation of clause no 8 of the MoS of the 2nd Bodo accord signed on February 10, 2003 to help ensure the granting of ST (Hills) status to the Bodo-Kacharis living in both Karbi Anglong and North Cachar Hills (Dima Hasao), and granting of general amnesty to all the leaders and cadres of the NDFB including the jailed ones in order to help ensure their pardon and setting them all free pursuant to the signing of their 'Peace Accord'.

The apex platform of the whole Bodo Civil Society at All India National Level-BPNLBM has apprised both the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister of the detrimental implicit and explicit negative impacts and effects of all the draconian and treacherous clauses of the MoS of the latest Bodo accord (the 3rd) signed on the misnomer concept of 'Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR)' on January 27, 2020.

The president of the BNPLBM said the anti BTC action plans of the State government of Assam stood as the glaring and ardent testimonies thereof with instances of the compactness and contiguity of the geo-political boundary and area of BTC have already been threatened to be drastically damaged, reduced, minimized, and gerrymandered as to the manner the Government is contemplating by way of appointing an arbitrary Commission under paragraph 14th of the sixth schedule to the constitution comprising majority members from the State government and neglecting other stakeholders.
