Foundation day of VHP celebrated in Biswanath Chariali

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Shri Krishna's Janmashtami and foundation day of VHP was celebrated at the premises of Baghmari Shiva Mandir near Biswanath Chariali. At the commencement of the programme, Sapon Rajkhowa, president of the district, lighted up a lamp and offered floral tributes at the portraits of Bharat Mata and Guruji. Tikaram Sharma Nirvik, a prominent social activist associated with many organizations in Biswanath district, hoisted the religious flag and delivered a speech on Janmashtami and the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic.

Later, Simanta Saikia, Assistant Secretary of the District Committee, took part in Gou Puja, simultaneously Shri Krishna pujan was conducted by Jivan Rajkhowa, vice president, and Shanti Bhushan Dubey, Satsang Pramukh of the district. The function was attended by Pran Pratim Bhuyan, acting president of the District Committee and others. At the end of the day, the program was successfully completed with the Purnata Mantra.
