LAKHIMPUR: MLA of Lakhimpur LAC, Manab Deka on Wednesday laid the foundation stone to construct the building of the Uttar Purvanchal Saanskritik Sangha, located at Ahu-Chaol Gaon of North Lakhimpur town.

The building of the institution will be constructed with a fund amounting to Rs. 1.50 crore allotted under Comprehensive Infrastructural Development Fund (CIDF). The implementation of the project will be completed within a year as stated by the MLA.

The MLA also laid the foundation stone to construct the building of a community library in North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) campus on the same day. This project will be implemented with the investment of a fund of Rs. 3.91 crore, allotted under CIDF. Along with the MLA, Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur, Sumit Sattawan and BJP leaders of the district took part in the ceremonial programmes organized at the respective venues on this occasion.
