Foundation stone of pillar with the symbol of Bodo Sahitya Sabha laid in Tamulpur

BAKSA: The work done by the Bodo Sahitya Sabha for Bodo language, literature and culture is appreciable. We will always respect the work done by the Bodo Sahitya Sabha," said the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Pramod Boro during the foundation stone laying ceremony of a 25- foot high pillar with a symbol of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha at Goreshwar Chowk in Tamulpur subdivision town on Wednesday morning.

The foundation stone of the pillar was laid in presence of BTC MCLA Bijit Goura Narzary, one of the secretaries of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Binay Kumar Narzari, president of Tamulpur District Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Anindra Narzary, secretary of reception committee, Ratneswar Boro, intellectuals along with many workers.

The 61st central conference of the central committee of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha will be held in Tamulpur in February, 2022. Parul Bharali Boro, wife of BTC chief Pramod Boro, will bear the full cost of the pillar building work with this symbol.

Pramod Boro addressed a meeting conducted by young social worker Jiten Moshahary of Tamulpur after the foundation stone laying ceremony. This time Pramod Boro called for smooth conduct of the central conference of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha in Tamulpur. At the end of the meeting, the secretary of the reception committee, Ratneswar Boro, told the media that the symbolic pillar of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, which was laid today, would have special significance in the promotion of Bodo literature.
