Four arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a person in the beef selling incident

Biswanath Chariali: Biswanath police have arrested four prime accused persons so far in connection with the alleged assault on one Shaukat Ali, an eatery owner in Madhupur weekly market last Sunday. They have been identified as Dwipen Baruah, Dipak Koal, Subhal Koal and Jintu Saikia. They hail from Madhupur village under Biswanath Chariali police station in Biswanath district. A case bearing no 80/2019 was registered with BiswanathChariali police station and a further police investigation is going on.
