BAKSA: Nagrijuli Police on Monday nabbed four dacoits from Dongargaon village under Tamulpur Police Station in the district of Baksa. According to Manoj Das, in-charge of Nagrijuli Police Outpost, in the midnight of March 13, a group of four dacoits entered the house of Sudev Mandal by breaking the door of his house. Brandishing pistols and sharp weapons, the group of dacoits looted Rs 30,000 in cash and valuable ornaments and fled from the house.

On March 14, Sudev Mandal lodged an FIR at Nagrijuli Police Outpost. After receiving the FIR, Nagrijuli Police started investigation. Following secret information, a team of Nagrijuli police led by S I Manoj Das on Monday launched an operation at Dongargaon village and nabbed Rome Mandal (26), Prem Kumar Roy (18), Indra Mandal (22) and Surya Mandal (32). All are inhabitants of the village Dongargaon along the Indo-Bhutan border. All four dacoits were produced before the court of the Judicial Magistrate of Baksa and sent to judicial custody.
