Four people died in road mishap at Sonitpur district

Tezpur: In a tragic incident, four people traveling from Teleria to Tumuki died in a road accident near the Bihaguri area on NH-15 under Bihaguri Outpost in Sonitpur district on Monday night. The accident occurred when the Indigo vehicle in which they were traveling hit a parked truck. All the passengers of the Indigo died on the spot. The ill-fated vehicle bore the registration number AS-01AB 9959 that hit the parked truck bearing registration number AS-01HC 5353. The deceased have been identified as Goutam Das (Mekonor Chuburi Bihaguri), Mridul Saikia (Tumuki Bihaguri), Ujjal Kurmi (Tumuki Bihaguri) and Humeswar Nath (Tumuki Bihaguri).
