Free medical camp held at a border village in Dhubri district

DHUBRI: A free medical camp was held at Patamari, the remotest border village of Dhubri district recently. It was organized by Dharmasala Block Public Health Centre (BPHC) in collaboration with Dhubri civil administration and 67 Bn BSF.

Nearly 1,255 civilians underwent health check-up and medicines were given in the camp itself. A medical team headed by Subdivisional Medical Officer Dr Minhaz Choudhury along with six doctors, 30 medical staff and six ASHA workers participated and extended their services in the medical camp. Earlier, the camp was inaugurated by 2IC (ADM) of 67 Bn BSF, Raj Kumar at Pattamari Lower Primary School of Sastraghat P-II village under Patamari Gaon Panchayat of Dhubri district. On behalf of Dharmasala BPHC Block Programme Manager, Azizur Rahman Ahmed took lead in organizing the camp and at the end of the programme offered the vote of thanks.
