Free Medical Camp Organized By Army in Chirang

Kokrajhar: A unit of the Red Horns Division of the Army on Saturday conducted a medical camp in Aipoali village in Chirang district under Operation Sadhbhavana with an aim to provide medical facilities to the most deprived and economically weaker sections of the society.

The medical camp was attended by 750 men, women and children wherein treatment was administered by 5 doctors including a lady doctor from Army and TB detection team from Jwhwlao Swmbla Basumatary Civil Hospital for various ailments. Free distribution of medicines were also undertaken as part of the camp activities. Individuals requiring a long term attention were given medical advice .

By conducting such events, army aims to achieve a favourable bond with the locals simultaneously contributing in development of the weaker sections of the society. The efforts of the Armed Forces have been receiving overhelming response and appreciation from the local populace.
