Free textbooks distributed to government higher secondary schools in Goalpara

GOALPARA: Amid the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown, the Goalpara district administration initiated free textbook distribution to government higher secondary schools on Wednesday. In this regard, a small function was held in the conference hall of the DC's office. Varnali Deka, Deputy Commissioner, attended the function and formally handed over the books to Kamal Goswami, Principal of the SBP Memorial HS School, Mornoi; Sozimuddin Ahmed, Principal of the PR Government HS and MP School and Abdul Hoque of JN Memorial HS School, Agia. Nripen Das, Inspector of Schools, GDC, Goalpara also attended and assisted in the programme.
