Free ultrasonography facility for pregnant women in Demow Model Hospital
The Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC at Demow Konwar Dehingia, Sivasagar is providing healthcare to the patients of Thowra constituency.

DEMOW: The Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC at Demow Konwar Dehingia, Sivasagar is providing healthcare to the patients of Thowra constituency. However, there is no ultrasonography facility for pregnant women in Demow Model Hospital, said a health official.
Regarding this problem, the authority of Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC had submitted a letter to the CEO of Swargdew Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital at Rajabari, Sivasagar near Demow on August 20. Dr Rupam Borkotoky, Deputy Superintendent of Demow Model Hospital, said that Demow Model Hospital and Swargdew Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital had an agreement on free ultrasonography facility for all pregnant women referred from Demow Model Hospital to Swargdew Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital. The ultrasonography charge will be borne by the government.
