Gajali Sishu Sahitya Award to be conferred on Jugallochan Das

NALBARI: Noted children literary icon of the State Jugallochan Das has been selected for the prestigious Gajali Sishu Sahitya Award, 2021 by Gajali Prakashan, Nalbari. The proprietor of the Gajali Prakashan, Shankar Sarma announced this in a press release. Jugallochan Das, the author of many children books was born at Raha, Nagaon in 1969. He has been authoring children books since 1985. He has already written more than 35 books in this genre. He has been awarded Sahitya Academy in this genre of writing in 2018. This award comprises cash Rs 4,000, a gamocha, japi, xarai, a citation. "This award will be conferred in memory of Ruhuni Dutta," said the proprietor of Gajali Prakashan.
