Goalpara District Legal Services Authority organizes awareness programme

GOALPARA: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Goalpara on Thursday organized an awareness programme on the role and importance of Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) stakeholders.

Nilkamal Das, secretary DLSA, emphasized the need of working for the best interest of children and understanding the juvenile acts in vernacular language. He also discussed in detail the ways of properly preparing the Social Investigation Report. Pamphlets in Assamese language were also distributed in the same programme.

Sabina Zinnat, Additional CJM-cum-principal magistrate of JJB, besides other magistrates, JJB and CWC members, police officers, participated on the occasion.
