BOKAKHAT: While visiting to inquire about the condition of the police personnel injured in Tuesday night’s grenade explosion, Golaghat Deputy Commissioner Pulak Mahanta was left stunned upon witnessing the appalling condition of the Bokakhat Swahid Kamala Miri Civil Hospital. Shocked by the extremely unhygienic state and poor maintenance of the hospital, he immediately instructed the health officer to clean the premises without delay. Furthermore, expressing displeasure over the random parking of various vehicles in the hospital compound, he ordered the installation of “No Parking” signs within the day. He also directed that lights be installed within Wednesday to ensure proper illumination around the hospital premises and road at night. Additionally, he instructed that vehicles belonging to doctors parked in the ambulance bay be removed immediately.
