Golaghat district administration organized Community Padayatra

GOLAGHAT: The Golaghat district administration organized a community padayatra in Golaghat town on Monday on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The program started with floral tribute and lighting of earthen lamp at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi by the Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, Dhiren Hazarika and secretary of Freedom Fighters’ Association, Jogen Bora. In the community padayatra, students of various educational institutes, delegates of organizations, senior citizens and officials of the district administration took part.
