GOLAGHAT: Golaghat Electricity Department has come to limelight after dispatching a monthly bill worth Rs 83,82,776 to a commercial shop. As per the information, a person named Mukul Goswami of ward number 7 of Golaghat town has drawn the attention of many due to the bill amount of his shop. It is to be known that the very commercial shop has always cleared their bills on time. When a group of journalists inquired the matter, the concerned officials said that it was due to the fault of the billing department.
