LAKHIMPUR: The Golden Jubilee celebration of Lakhimpur Commerce College concluded successfully on Saturday with calls for upgrading the college to the next level as a centre of Commerce University. These calls were made in the open session of the closing ceremony of the golden jubilee, which was held on Saturday at the main venue of the function. Chaired by the president of the organizing committee Dr Mukunda Rajbangshi, the session was attended by Dr. Ramesh Deka, Vice Chancellor of Cotton University, as the chief guest. Three books, titled as ‘Personal Development and Soft Skill’ by Dr Arupa Dutta, Assistant Professor in Education, ‘Human Rights’ by Kuldip Narayan Dutta, Assistant Professor in Political Science and Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal and ‘Implementation of NEP-2020 in HIs of Assam’, edited by Dr Lohit Hazarika, Principal, Dr. Dadul Rajknowar, Coordinator, IQAC and Dr. Harini Patowari Das, Assistant Professor in English, were inaugurated in the open session of the golden jubilee.
