Goods train hits youth near Demow in Mahkhuti Borbam

DEMOW: A tragic incident took place near Demow in Mahkhuti Borbam on Sunday night where a goods carrying train hit a youth. The youth lost his hands and legs in the accident. The youth has been identified as Biltu Bhumij (21), a resident of Borbam Gaon. According to sources, after the goods train hit the youth, he shouted for help. The local people recovered the injured youth and took him to Demow Model Hospital. After providing primary treatment in Demow Model Hospital, the youth was referred to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh for better treatment.
