Gossaigaon ready for a peaceful poll

Gossaigaon: Gossaigaon subdivision is all set for a peaceful poll in the third phase of the Lok Sabha election. While talking to mediapersons, Gossaigaon district election official Gaya Prasad Agarwala said that there were total 245 polling booths in 28-Gossaigaon LAC and 243 polling both in 29- West Kokrajhar LAC, two all-women polling booths, four model polling booths, 72 critical polling booths and five vulnerable areas under the subdivision. He also revealed that proper security had been arranged in all the booths and video and detached micro observer had also been detailed for the sensitive polling booths. Accordingly, on Monday, the EVM machines along with other necessary materials had been dispatched to the polling booths.
