Towards the end of last year, the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati had issued an advisory requesting travellers to arrive at least three hours before their flight is due to depart. The airport had issued the advice in a statement. "International as well as domestic passengers, travelling through our airport, are advised to arrive at least 3 hours prior to their scheduled flight."
