
Guwahati: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shares glimpses of Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport on X, which is set to be open soon.
CM Sarma took to social media platform X, to share much awaited pictures of the airport and announced that the project is nearing completion and will be ready for operations by November this year for flightgoers. The government planned to develop the land around the airport to further facilitate tourism and entertainment.
“It will be opened in November and we will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate this state-of-the-art modern infrastructure,” said CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.
This new terminal will significantly boost connectivity in the North East and also our neighbouring country Bhutan. Himanta accompanied a delegation that was invited from Bhutan’s The Gelephu Mindful City to review the progress of the construction of the new terminal on Wednesday.
