Guwahati Based NGO to Conduct Street Play Competition At Mangaldai

Mangaldai: Under the aegis of Foundation for Research and Reform, a Guwahati based non-profit organization, is going to conduct a first of its kind street play competition to be held in the heart of Mangaldai town. The competition is going to be held on November 16 at the Mangaldai College playground. The competition will be based on the following theme: Health and Nutrition, Mother and Child Care, Education/Literacy, Swachhata, Social evils/Superstitions, and Rural Industry/Self-employment. Each group is asked to submit a joining fee of Rs. 500/ along with the script of the play latest by November 5. The winning team will be given prize money of Rs 10001 and the runner-up team will get prize money of Rs 5,001. A souvenir will also be unveiled on the occasion, stated a press release.
