Guwahati: CM reveals initiatives across the state leading to Ram Mandir Ceremony

GUWAHATI: Preparing for the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, Assam's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has planned a series of comprehensive programs throughout next week. At an important meeting held on Thursday at their state headquarters in Guwahati, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, State BJP President Bhabesh Kalita and notable personalities came together to finalize this decision.

Starting on January 18, a week of celebrations will take place throughout the state with numerous events and initiatives lined up. Chief Minister Sarma expressed the importance of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony during an official meeting and announced it would occur on January 22. To emphasize the significance of the event, Chief Minister Sarma proclaimed January 22 as a 'Dry Day.' The purpose behind this action is to urge citizens to appropriately and respectfully observe the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
