Guwahati Frontier of BSF apprehends 2 Bangladeshi women

GUWAHATI: In yet another success in its crusade against illegal infiltration, troops of 129 Bn BSF under the aegis of Guwahati Frontier of BSF conducted an operations based on specific information's and apprehended two (2) Bangladeshi women and one Indian national on Monday at Sahebganj in Coochbehar district of West Bengal.

There was a specific input about Bangladeshi nationals who had illegally entered in Indian territory through the unfenced patch of Indo-Bangladesh border in the general area of Sahebganj village which is close to the international boundary.

The information was timely disseminated to 129 Bn BSF and accordingly all the Border Outpost (BOP) were alerted to identify and nab the Bangladeshi nationals.

They have been identified as Paru Begum, (44yrs), Rina Begum (42 yrs). The Indian national has been identified as Jahagir Hussain. They have been handed over to Sahebganj Police Station in Coochbehar district of West Bengal, stated a press release.
