Hagrama Mohilary declares names of two more candidates for BTC election

Kokrajhar: The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has declared the list of two more party candidatures for the forthcoming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections scheduled sometime in April –May 2020, bringing the total list to 18.

BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary on Tuesday declared names of Reo Reoreoa Narzihary from Jomduar constituency and Panbai Basumatary from Baganpara constituency at the huge mass gathering organized by the women’s wing of the Bodoland People’s Front at Bishmuri in Kokrajhar Mohilary had on February 17 declared the list of 15 party candidatures.

Addressing the gathering, Mohilary also announced a grant to 500 Self-Help Groups (SHG) from each of the 40 constituencies in BTC and bicycle to each mid-day worker of LP school and ASHA workers. Mohilary said the BPF would win the BTC election and form the government in BTC with an absolute majority.
