Hailakandi DC inspects model hospital near Assam-Mizoram border

Hailakandi: Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli made a sudden visit to Mahatma Gandhi Model Hospital at Dholai in Katlicherra near the Assam-Mizoram inter-state border on Tuesday. During her inspection, Jalli went round the different wards and interacted with the doctors, nurses and other staff to take stock of the prevailing condition of the hospital and the problems plaguing it.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the doctors and nurses to provide the best of medical care and treatment to the patients coming from interior and far-flung areas to the hospital. Jalli also discussed with the concerned officials on issues like connectivity to make the hospital more accessible to people and on power shortage and ways and means to overcome the problems.
