Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan organised at NTPC Bongaigaon

KOKRAJHAR: To mark the 75th year of Indian Independence, Central Industrial Security Force deployed at NTPC Bongaigaon organised a bike rally under the aegis of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Abhiyan. The rally saw the participation of around 150 CISF personnel, both men and women. It was flagged off from CISF Complex, NTPC Bongaigaon.

The bike rally covered the areas of NTPC Plant, NTPC Township, Railgate Bazar, Salakati Market and nearby villages viz. Salakati, Kathalguri, Amlaiguri, Bangalpara, totalling a distance of 15 kms. The main aim of this rally was to sensitize all citizens living at this area about the new flag code and to encourage hoisting of Tiranga (National Flag) at their homes, shops, clubs etc. During the rally approximately 2,350 national flags were distributed to villagers free of cost to celebrate 'Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav' in a grand way.
