Har Ghar Tiranga campaign: SSB organizes Tiranga rally in Chirang district

KOKRAJHAR: The 6 Bn SSB, Kokrajhar organized a cultural programme and Tiranga rally at community hall under BOP Dadagiri along the Indo-Bhutan border on Thursday. More than 800 students from various schools i.e Good Shepherd School, Avenger School, M.E School Dadgiri, High School, Shantipur participated in the programme.

MLA Sidli, Jayanta Basumatary graced the occasion as chief guest and Chirang Deputy hoist the National Flag in their houses and public places. In another programme organized by the same battalion, a cycle rally was organized on Thursday by BOP Sashipur as a part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the Chirang district

A total of 14 SSB personnel and 66 students from Malivita School took part in the rally up to Janata Bazar Market and back to BOP Sashipur. Also, 1000 National Flags were distributed to villagers by SSB for hoisting in their houses from August 13 to August 15.
