Hatishal Anganwadi Centre inaugurated in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Under Sonali Saisob Bikashita Asam (Golden Childhood and Developed Assam) scheme, MLA Rupresh Gowala inaugurated the No. 1 Hatishal Anganwadi Centre constructed beautifully at a cost of Rs 25 lakh on Wednesday.

These Anganwadi centres would be upgraded to primary schools in future. MLA Gowala in his inaugural speech said that the purpose of constructing these centres was to improve the quality of education right from the primary level. The inaugural function was attended by CDPO, Hapjan Development Block, Anupama Gohain, and other dignitaries.

On the other hand, MP of Lakhimpur Parliamentary Constituency, Pradan Baruah laid the foundation stone for reconstruction and widening the T-05 Gandhia, Balijan, Tipuk-Daisa link road under PMGSY, 2022 -23 scheme on Thursday.

MLA Rupresh Gowala, MP's representative Mulendra Moran, president of Kordoiguri GP, Jeuti Moran and the presidents of many local GPs were also present on the occasion. MP Pradan Baruah told the PWD officials to ensure that the construction of the roads was flawless.
