Head Constable of NF Railways Saves Old Man Life In Assam's Tinsukia District

Tinsukia: A Railway Police Force (RPF) personnel of Northern Railway (NF) saved the life of an old man from a fatal accident in Assam's Tinsukia District.

Alerted on duty, AB Sikdar, RPF Head Constable of Tinsukia Division saved the old man while boarding/deboarding 15603 Guwahati-Ledo intercity express at Tinsukia Railway Station.

The said incident occurred at platform No 2 of the station on December 11, 2021.

Reportedly, the old man was trying to board the train to collect his belongings which he forgot and got slipped following which he was dragged with the train up to some distance.

After the noticing the same, the Head Constable reacted promptly and ran to pull him out and saved the passenger from fatal injury.
