Headmistress of Nagsankar JBS, Shantana Hazarika passed away

JAMUGURIHAT: Shantana Hazarika (55), the headmistress of Nagsankar JBS, near here breathed her last in the early hours of August 18 at her Koch Gaon residence. She had been suffering from kidney-related ailment and diabetes since long. She was sincere and dedicated towards her profession. She was the sister of Padma Hazarika, MLA of Sootea LAC. She leaves behind her husband, a son, a daughter along with a host of relatives.
