GUWAHATI: Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, announced that the Health Department Recruitment Examination will be held shortly.

He stated, "The recruitment of the health department will be handled slowly in the next few days since it is difficult to undertake numerous recruiting examinations at the same time."

On Tuesday the popular leader said that the date of the exam will be made public very soon by the health department.

According to the CM, "The environment in the state would definitely change entirely because the recruitment procedure in Assam has improved and is better presently."

He also commented about the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' of the Congress party and said that they wouldn't gain any votes on the streets. "They have to go inside the homes of the inhabitants and enlighten them about the work their party has done so far in order to obtain votes," he said.

The Assam phase of this campaign is scheduled to start on the 1st of November. It will be two and a half months of affairs starting in Golakganj and ending in Sadiya. It will also pass through Guwahati, Kamalpur, Barpeta and Bilasipara.

The state government has recently declared the results of the Assam Public Service Commission after removing the Assamese language paper from consideration. The removal of the compulsory paper by the government was challenged in the Gauhati High Court. And the court decided to go with the decision taken by the Government of Assam.

These recruitments are in alignment with the goals set by the chief minister of the state after he took his oath. The aim is to provide as many jobs as possible by filling all the vacancies across various departments of the state government. Different stages of the Assam Direct Recruitment were also done towards achieving the same goal.
