Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Reviews preparedness in JMCH

JORHAT: Assam Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday inaugurated a free kidney dialysis centre at the Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) and reviewed the preparedness to combat COVID-19 cases. He also took stock of the hospital, its Intensive Care Unit, various departments along with the capacity of health workers and NGOs to face any sort of epidemic and discussed the present situation of isolation wards and beds, said Dr. Atul Boro, the Principal of JMCH, on Saturday. Dr Sarma also held meeting with doctors and nurses along with Samir Sinha, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Health and Family Welfare Department, Roshni Aparanji Korati, Deputy Commissioner of Jorhat, Bipul Das, ADC Health, Jorhat, and other senior health and administrative officers.
