Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma takes stock of COVID condition in Goalpara

Goalpara: State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday visited Goalpara district and reviewed the preparedness of the district administration against the pandemic coronavirus which has also affected Goalpara district and at least three persons have tested COVID-19 positive. The minister visited the Goalpara Civil Hospital at Bhalukdubi where the corona positive patients have been kept in isolation and took stock of their health conditions.

Later, while talking to the media persons, he expressed his satisfaction over the precautionary initiatives being taken by the administration and praised Deputy Commissioner Varnali Deka.
