Heart Warming Gesture: Corona Frontline Worker in Assam Feeds COVID Patient

Guwahati: It is because of people like Dipti Hazarika that you do not lose faith in humanity. It makes you feel safe, not lonely and taken care of even when you are suffering from the deadly virus called COVID. It is because of gestures shown by Dipti and others like her, that it gives us that little hope to hand in there, to live on. Here is Dipti's heart-warming positive story.

Dipti Hazarika is a sanitation worker in one of the COVID Care facilities in Assam's Kamrup district. She went out of her way to ensure that COVID patients in the COVID care facility did not go hungry. In a video shared by the Kamrup district administration, Dipti is seen feeding the COVID patients.

Usually, when a person is down with COVID, the person loses taste and does not want to eat, something that happens whenever anyone is sick. But like all other ailments, more so in COVID, a person has to eat well to fight the virus. Knowing these facts, Dipti made sure that the patients in the facility where she is working, got that extra bit of care and ate well despite they not wanting to do so. A little bit of extra care and love can make wonders happen.

The video has gone viral. People are appreciating the work people like Dipti are doing.

It is Dipti and hundreds of other good Samaritans, thousands of COVID warriors, frontline workers, and even people in general who are doing a lot in their own way to keep humanity and humans alive. It is because of their selfless efforts that many are alive today. We respect and salute Dipti and the likes of her. Because for many people who are down with COVID, even their family members or relatives do not prefer to go near them, let alone feed them or offer them water and medicines and treat them. But Dipti and other COVID frontline workers have once again shown that humanity is still alive, there are people who care for people and other living beings and this world is still a better place.
