Helping hand extended to needy persons in Kokrajhar in view of lockdown

Kokrajhar: Responding to the appeal from State Finance Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma to extend a helping hand to the needy families, 19 government employees from Uttar Kargaon in Kokrajhar came out to help needy families and distributed food items among 31 families on Tuesday. The initiative was organized by an employee of Janasanyog Kokrajhar, Mithun Basumatary in association with village society of Uttar Kargaon village. The food items included dal, mustard oil, sugar, biscuits, soaps and salt. The food items were distributed in the presence of village headman Ganesh Narzary, DIPRO Tridib Nandan Bora and his staff.
