Guwahati: Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday inaugurated Swahid Kamala Miri Sub Divisional Civil Hospital in Bokakhat at Assam's Golaghat district.

The minister along with Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Pijush Hazarika, Chief executive member Tuliram Ronghang and MP Pallab Lochan Das launched the newly opened civil hospital.

As per reports, the newly opened hospital is a 100-bed built at an expense of Rs 9.22 cr.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Dr. Sarma wrote "Inaugurated Swahid Kamala Miri Sub Divisional Civil Hospital at Bokakhat along with Min @ATULBORA2, MoS @Pijush_hazarika, KAAC CEM @TuliramRonghang & MP @pallablochandas"
