Historic milestone in Semkhor village with first institutional delivery

HAFLONG: A significant milestone was achieved in Semkhor, one of Dima Hasao’s most backward villages, with the first institutional delivery conducted successfully at the Semkhor sub-centre on Saturday. The mother and baby are in good health.

The delivery was conducted by the Community Health Officer (CHO), Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs), and Multi-Purpose Workers (MPWs) at the Semkhor sub-centre. This achievement showcased the dedication of healthcare workers and progress towards improving maternal and child health outcomes in Dima Hasao.
