Home Guard Jawan found dead at Bhebarghat of Mangaldai

MANGALDAI: A jawan of home guard on duty has been found lying dead at Bhebarghat of Mangaldai town early this morning. The deceased Safed Ali engaged at Mangaldai Police Station was deployed in ATM duty in a bank of the locality. As reported, after performing his night duty, while he was returning to the police station, he lost his conscious and fell down on the ground. On seeing the jawan lying there at about 6pm, people of the locality informed the police and a team of police hurriedly took him to Mangaldai Civil Hospital where he was declared brought dead. However the cause of the death is yet to be ascertained and the report of the post mortem examination is awaited.
