House guard of former BTC deputy chief tests COVID-19 positive

Kokrajhar: K. Bahadur Karki (58), one of the house guards of former Deputy Chief of BTC, Kampa Borgoyari tested COVID-19 positive on Thursday. However, sources informed that all family members of Borgayari tested negative.

The increasing number of COVID cases in Kokrajhar has become a matter of concern. Maximum cases have been detected in Kokrajhar jail, Digli Forest Camp, Shantinagar, Police Reserve in Kokrajhar and Balaknagar and Dolgaon in Gossaigaon subdivision. The Block B of BTC Secretariat is also sealed due to detection of positive cases among some employees, drivers and security guards.
