HS and HSLC meritorious students felicitated in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Altogether 36 meritorious students under Badulipar Gaon Panchayat were felicitated recently at the Gaon panchayat office on Sunday.

In this regard, a felicitation programme was held under the chairmanship of GP president Lanima Phukan and aim and purposes of the meeting were elaborated by GP secretary Lakhikanta Saikia. The students who successfully passed the HS and HSLC exam were felicitated with phulam gamusa and a citation letter. In the programme, Bhulaguri Kamala Miri Higher Secondary School's principal Purnima Gogoi Tamuly, retired teacher Jagat Saikia, bank official Anil Saikia, social worker Pranab Bora, Bhobesh Bora, Diganta Saikia, Ritul Gogoi, journalist Chandan Bora delivered encouraging speeches to the students.
