Huge quantities of drugs, cash seized in Rangia

RANGIA: In a joint operation by Rangia and Nalbari police, huge quantities of suspected drugs and cash were seized from one notorious drug Mafia Najimul Haque alias Dhan from Rangia Teteliguri. According to Bhaskar Malla Patowary, Rangia OC, on the basis of a secret information received from the sources Rangia Police rushed to the spot and apprehended the culprit who was most-wanted in different police station of Lower Assam. Police recovered cash of Rs 13.50 lakhs and 81 grams of suspected drugs in seven soap cases including huge a container of mobile phones, ATM cards etc. The value of the suspected drugs in international market is approximately Rs 50 lakhs. Police is interrogating the accused. He was arrested several times in this case. It is alleged that he is involved in human trafficking also.
