Ideology and policy of BJP drawing people towards party: Dr. Debamoy Sanyal

DHUBRI: Dhubri district unit president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Dr. Debamoy Sanyal, while addressing a meeting at Aziz More in Asharikandi under Gauripur legislative assembly constituency of Dhubri district held on Thursday , said that it was ideology and policy of the party that were drawing people of all walks of life towards the party.

"The policies being adopted by the Central and State governments and schemes implemented for the benefit of all sections of people, irrespective of caste, creed and religion, are drawing the people towards the BJP," he said.

Dr Sanyal also appealed to the people of Gauripur to join the party and provide an opportunity to take this historic constituency on the track of speedy development. Many members of the Congress (I) and AIUDF joined the party in the meeting.

Earlier, another joining programme was held on September 20 wherein a number of reputed businessmen, teachers and income tax practitioners joined the BJP. Total 169 young new voters joined the party in a meeting held under Dhubri Town Mandal unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). Further, 156 people joined the party in a meeting held at ward no. 15 Dhubri by the BJP Dhubri Town Mandal this week.
