IGP (Ops) Sarbajit Singh visits 142 CRPF Bn in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: The newly-appointed IGP (Inspector General of Police) Ops sector, Jorhat Sarbajit Singh visited 142 Bn, CRPF HQ Jonakinagar and also the Assam-Nagaland border (DAB) area on Saturday.

The 142 Bn Commandant Bharat Kumar Vaishnav and officers welcomed the officer.

On this occasion, Hanumant Singh Rawat, DIGP Range KKT, Jeany Anal, Comdt 20 Bn, Dinesh Singh Chandel, Comdt Raj Mukut Kerketta, Comdt— 30 Bn, 34 Bn, Jagmohan Bhagat, Comdt. 119 Bn, Mukesh Jyage, Comdt.155 Bn were also present.

Then, IGP Sarbajit Singh took the guard of honour at Quarter Guard and inspected the Guard torn out, and drill .

Further, Commandant 142 Bn Bharat Kumar Vaishnav along with all Commandants of units presented Power Point Presentation in Conference Hall of 142 Bn. They gave information about the security scenario in their 'Areas of Responsibilities'.

On the other hand, a special sapling-plantation drive was organized in the 142 Bn campus where IGP Sarbajit Singh and all officers participated.

Later, IGP Sarbajit Singh inspected the barracks of jawans , M.T. Park, Recreation Room, Control Room, Battalion Store, Various Offices/Branches, and Unit Hospital among others. He also interacted with the officers and men of 142 BN . He urged them to perform their duties without any stress; and also asked them to carry out all the duties and other works under the KKT Range in a better way.

Jimik, Second in Commandant, Range KKT, Neraj Kumar Singh, Second in Commandant, 142 Bn, Dharmbir Kumar, Deputy Commandant, Jugal Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commandant, Dr. T. Balaji, Medical Officer of 142 Bn.
