Illegal Arunachal liquor seized at Gossaigaon

Gossaigaon: Based on an intelligence input, police officials of Simultapu outpost staged a Naka checking and detained one truck bearing no. NL-01D/4044 loaded with 120 bags of maize at NH31(C) at Srirampur and searched thoroughly. During the search, illegal IMFL were found concealed under 120 bags. The driver was interrogated thoroughly and he confessed that the IMFL were loaded at Naharkatia, Dibrugarh and was to be delivered in Madarihat, West Bengal. A case has been registered and further investigation is going on to nab the culprits.
