Illegal liquor seized by Excise Circles of Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Acting on a tip-off, an excise raid was carried out on Wednesday under areas of Rangapara, Dhekiajuli and Tezpur Excise Circles of Sonitpur district. The raid was supervised by SE, Sonitpur. During the course of the raid, 33 bottles of IMFL, 5 bottles beer (both for sale in Arunachal Pradesh) were seized. Also about 450 litres of fermented wash and about 60 litres of illicit distilled liquor were destroyed, official sources said.
