Illegal liquor seized in Sonitpur district, two arrested

Tezpur: Acting on a tip-off, Chariduar Police in Sonitpur district intercepted and searched a Bolero pickup bearing number AS12BC 4370 and recovered 148 cartons of Arunachali liquor. In this connection two persons have been arrested. The apprehended persons have been identified as Mohan Rai of Rangapra and Tuya Upadhya of Sonaipam village, Chariduar in Sonitpur district, official sources said.
